This is probably the result of moving to client-side windows. A lot of
code has changed, and even though it means less DirectFB specific code
to maintain in the long term, it has obviously not been tested enough.

Since none of the GTK+ maintainers use DirectFB, the only thing we can
do is apply patches that other people might have tested.
