Package: libvte9
Version: 1:0.22.2-1
Severity: normal

There is no special escape sequence generated for combination of Ctrl or Alt with the Home or End key.

Observed both in xfce4-terminal and gnome-terminal.
Home ^[OH
Ctrl+Home ^[OH
Alt+Home ^[OH
End ^[OF
Ctrl+End ^[OF
Alt+End ^[OF

In xterm, different escape codes are generated:
Home ^[[H
Ctrl+Home ^[[1;5H
Alt+Home ^[[1;3H
End ^[[F
Ctrl+End ^[[1;5F
Alt+End ^[[1;3F

Output is generated in bash by pressing Ctrl+v and the key combination.

Problem could be the same as in following upstream bug report:
