# gnome-mplayer

^^ causes insta-death to gnome-panel. Attaching gdb to gnome-panel
process results in no information. It only indicates gnome-panel
'Program exited with code 01.'

The same occurs with gxine.

Attaching an strace of one of the exits. Seems it is spinning madly
before it terminates.
