I tried glib 2.22.0-2 and 2.22.1-1. Nautilus still fails to remember positions of some icons for symlinks. It now works for some and does not for others. Looks like the nautilus fails to remember the position when the pathname of the symlink and the pathname of its target are sufficiently different.
