SVN repository upgrade

Hi,

Subversion 1.5 brings some new features (like merges tracking between
branches...) but these features needs an upgrade of the repository
itself, the upgrade is not done automatically because it render the
repository incompatible with clients < 1.5[1].

I was wondering the opportunity of doing this upgrade.
It seems that there are several ways to do so[2]. The best way looks
like dumpimp the content with svnadmin and then reimporting it. This
may also speedup repository checkout/commit time.

Anyone has experience with that? Any other thought? Objections?

Laurent
