I have discovered one reliable way to play two songs at once, debug logs attached.
Step to reproduce:
1. Play a song by double-clicking the song in the browser pane.
2. Click the play button.
3. Double-click a second song.
Expected results:
After step 2 no song is playing and the status slider stops moving.
After step 3 the second song plays and the information updates.
Actual results:
After step 2 the button is no longer depressed but the first song keeps playing.
After step 3 the interface shows the new song playing but both play at once.
