It’s just that thai is particularly complicated in terms of
word-wrapping, hyphenation, and so on. Most other languages can be
handled with the generic pango rules.

I guess we could split the thai module in a separate binary package if
someone is interested enough to do this change, but it’s not a very big
dependency.
