The data verification option is generally broken in Brasero.

I think the original issue was that after an upgrade the verification
was provided as a plugin which was not on by default.

I have turned on the plugin but still was unable to verify the whole image.

The plugin for verifying files sort of works - it makes a broken
checksum file which contains filenames before they are truncated for
Joliet compatibility so the verification fails but the files can be
checked with an external tool.
