Package: gnome-screensaver
Version: 2.30.0-1
Severity: grave

Hi,

after upgrading my Squeeze system yesterday (including upgrading
gnome-screensaver from 2.28.3-1+b1 to 2.28.3-1+b2),
gnome-screensaver - with blank screensaver - shows this behavior when
the screen is locked:

- the mouse cursor flickers when moved
- no unlock dialog is shown.

The only way to use the locked X session again is to kill
gnome-screensaver from a text console.

Additional information:

1. The following possibly related packages were upgraded at the same
   time as gnome-screensaver:
    * xserver-xorg-input-evdev (1:2.3.2-4 to 1:2.3.2-6)
    * xserver-xorg-core (2:1.7.6-2 to 2:1.7.6.901-3)

2. gnome-screensaver-preferences outputs the following line on stdout:

  ** (gnome-screensaver-preferences:16203): DEBUG: Found best visual for GL: 0xd5

3. I'm using the Xorg intel driver with KMS enabled.

4. Upgrading to 2.30.0-1 does not make any difference.
