Package: brasero
Version: 2.30.1-1
Severity: important
Justification: audio cd burning is a major feature
thanks

Hi,

Brasero fails to burn audio cd's. When I click `Burn' after adding some
audio tracks, this error message is shown (see `brasero-error.png'):

All required applications and libraries are not installed.
Please install the following manually and try again:.

I think this is because Debian's version of cdrdao is too old for
brasero (see `cdrdao-old.png') and can't therefore be used.

Installing `brasero-cdrkit' fixes the issue, probably because another
backend is used for burning then. However just installing `wodim' (it
wasn't installed before) doesn't improve things.

Ubuntu has an identical bug report[1]. Since they think that the new
upstream version of cdrdao could fix this, I filed a wishlist bug
against cdrdao[2].

Best Regards

Alexander Kurtz
