The point is to use the login screen that is presented after user2 logs
out to log again to user1. It will unlock user1’s screensaver and the
second X server then goes away.

The version in unstable should fix this particular bug. If you switch
VTs by hand and keep the login screen around, gdmflexiserver will now
re-use it.
