Ok, I'm now discovering a interesting graph of dependencies and virtual
packages around
python-gobject/python-gi

On my wheezy install I have:
  * python-gobject version 2.28.6-5 (instead of 3.0.2-4 for Sid, which
is marked as transitional)
  * gir1.2-glib-2.0 version 0.10.8-2+b1 (instead of 1.31.0-2 for Sid)

Interestingly enough, I don't have gobject-introspection installed.
(aptitude only sees gnome-core-devel in its reverse dependencies)

(I quickly tried to install gobject-introspection, but still (unless
some kind of reboot is required) the gedit plugin fails with the same
error message)

Best,
Pierre
