Dear Maintainer,
Use System Settings > Keyboard > Shortcuts to define a shortcut that uses Mod4
by holding down the Windows key and pressing, e.g., a letter. For example, I
have Mod4+X bound to launch a web browser.
Later, when I hold down the Windows key and press X, the system simply types an
x. If, however, I keep holding down the Windows key and press X again, the
shortcut is triggered as it should be.
This only seems to affect some shortcuts. Specifically, those beneath
org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.media-keys seem to have trouble while those
given in .gconf/apps/metacity/global_keybindings (such as launching a terminal)
work more reliably.
