Hi,

in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=603483#15 Javier correctly 
pointed out that its not recommended to upgrade from within an X session, so 
this could be closed as not-a-bug. But maybe update-manager could warn about 
this, though I dont really have a good idea how to detect such upgrades...

I'm sure you, the update-manager maintainers, can better evaluate how sensible 
it is, to keep this bug open.
