Bug#629423: gvfs: cannot access network location without a bookmark

Can you show any application where this works?

I can open the file when using a smb:// URI directly on the command line
but not when entering it in the file open dialog.

It is completely possible that all applications I tried set wrong
options on their file open dialogs. Or that GTK is to blame, not gvfs.
