The mixer popup that comes when I change my volume control on the keyboard
destroys the content of another window.

I'm running a two monitor setup. The popup opens in the lower center of one
of the monitors. That's correct. But unfortunately the same region on the
neighbor monitor seems to get overwritten with the background color of the
desktop.

For me it's not clear whether it's the fault of the NVIDIA driver, X11,
Gnome or the applet itself.
