I must admit I didn't try, as I barely log out and when it happens I'm 
usually pissed off.  Furthermore, the first case seems to occur more often.

Yes, the Debian bug system does not seem to allow to send attachments in 
the report and as mentionned afterwards you can find it on the upstream 
report to which I gave the link.  Here it is for your convenience.

Don't know, I don't use many non-GTK GUI applications and I don't 
remember having one as the active window when it occured.

Absolutely nothing related in dmesg.  I'll monitor the rest and keep you 
informed next time the issue occurs.
