The current version of libpeas is pretty out of date now that 1.2 has
been out for almost 2 months.
Is this going to get upgraded soon or is the failure to build holding it back?

Apparently it's been fixed in other distros

This is fairly major in that it affects plugins for any gnome packages
that uses python.
