Package: libglib2.0-0
Version: 2.30.2-4
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks unrelated software

Hi.

Since the most recent uploads to unstalbe I see problems like the following:
$ eog Untitled\ 1.png

GLib-ERROR **: /tmp/buildd/glib2.0-2.30.2/./glib/gmem.c:170: failed to allocate 546343776 bytes
Trace/breakpoint trap

$ l Untitled\ 1.png
-rw-r--r-- 1 calestyo calestyo 1,9M Nov 19 15:28 Untitled 1.png

$ free -m
             total used free shared buffers cached
Mem:          1972       1477        495          0         36        292
-/+ buffers/cache:       1147        825
Swap:            0          0          0

You see there should be pretty enough memory.
Tried it with several pictures.
I even had one case where the whole X server crashed then.

Any ideas?

Chris.
