By now, I’ve been able to break up the circular build-dependency
chain of the glib/dbus/gobject cycle, and can provide an updated
(but not uploadable) glib to gobject-introspection and thus build
it. The error happens, as well.

Yes, I’ve forwarded it now.

I’m working on an updated patch against the version (now) in sid.

This is really a bug in the code, and the patch doesn’t affect
the binary output on other architectures (in fact, it just makes
something that’s implicit on many-but-not-all architectures ex-
plicit, to make the structure match the spec exactly).
