Bug#645490: no longer suspend on lid close or power button after upgrade to gnome 3

Package: gnome-power-manager
Version: 3.0.2-2
Severity: normal

Hi, I've just upgraded to GNOME 3 in unstable: kudos for the awesome work!
I'm using GNOME 3 in fallback mode with the Awesome window manger.

After the upgrade, suspend is no longer triggered, neither by lid close, nor by
pressing the power button. The default GNOME power settings state that pressing
power button should trigger suspend; the GNOME tweak tool states that lid close
should trigger suspend as well.

Suspend itself does work, but the only GNOME-ish way I now have to trigger it
is through the shutdown menu choosing "Suspend".

Let me know how I can help debugging this even further,
Cheers.
