 Note that new GNOME releases typically rely on additional icons, e.g.
 this or that new notification-area icon/state, this or that new app, so
 that you might be missing icons in the older icon theme.  Both are
 still in Ubuntu, but I wouldn't bet that the older one works as
 expected in all cases.
