Bug#656578: Can't install extensions from gnome site (exception in /usr/share/gnome-shell/js/ui/extensionSystem.js)

Package: gnome-shell-common
Version: 3.2.1-8
Severity: normal

Attempting to install an extension (say
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/130/advanced-settings-in-usermenu/) from
https://extensions.gnome.org/ fails.

The on/off slider moves to "on", but there is no prompt if I want to install
the extension, nothing is created in ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions and
reloading the page shows the on/off slider in "off" position.

Here's tail of ~/.xsession-errors

Interestingly, I can install extensions on my laptop, which runs the same
"latest sid + gnome-shell-extensions from experimental" versions. The only
obvious difference is that my laptop in i386 and the workstation is amd64 and
has two monitors.
