Bug#680341: fonts only shown partially in ps2pdf generated file

Hi,

the attached files were generated using 
$ wget research.microsoft.com/pubs/67083/spineless-tagless-gmachine.ps.gz
$ gunzip spineless-tagless-gmachine.ps.gz
$ ps2pdf spineless-tagless-gmachine.ps

The ps file opens correnctly in evince. The pdf file opens but looks
wrong (see screenshot.png). It works in xpdf (hence I am reporting the
bug here), although it spams the command line full with
Error: Bad bounding box in Type 3 glyph

This might be related to #668250, but that bugfix is already here, so it
is not a duplicate.

It might be that ps2pdf is generating broken files; still obviously
evince can do better rendering them.
