   * What led up to the situation?
   Starting totem.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
     Looks like this bug is identical to this reported to
     archlinux: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/35310
     It's related with gnome 3.8.2, fglrx and cogl.

   * What was the outcome of this action?
   Totem crashes with this error message:

(totem:5651): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_strsplit: assertion `string != NULL' failed

(totem:5651): Clutter-CRITICAL **: Unable to initialize Clutter: The OpenGL version could not be determined

(totem:5651): Totem-WARNING **: gtk-clutter failed to initialise, expect problems from here on.
