Upload of gtk+3.0/3.14.5-1+deb8u1 to Jessie will be accepted by the Stable Release Managers

Yeah, would be great. But I wasn't patient enough to wait for negotiation.

I checked the svn repo. Revision r43867 seems to be the "golden" Jessie commit.
 (svn://anonscm.debian.org/pkg-gnome/desktop/unstable/gtk+3.0/)

I have attached a patch here that applies to that svn revision with the changes.
Hopefully that can save you some time.
