Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set GNOME dark theme via gnome-tweak-tool
2. Start gucharmap
3. gucharmap displays only the currently selected character.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Only currently selected character is displayed.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Display of all characters, both selected or not.
