Package: gnome-shell
Version: 3.34.4-1
Severity: important

I'm on Debian testing with all packages updated. Today after updating the
following packages- gnome-desktop3-data, libgnome-desktop-3-19,
gnome-settings-daemon, gir1.2-gnomedesktop-3.0, the system wouldn't get to
the login screen. Instead, a gray screen with "Oh no! Something has gone
wrong." message is shown.

Furthermore, in journalctl there is an "Unrecoverable failure in required
component org.gnome.Shell.desktop" error. Because there is a line, "ERROR:
... libgnome-desktop/gnome-bg-slide-show ... " nearby, the error might be
originating from libgnome-desktop. But the updated package is 3-19 and
gnome-shell's dependency is 3-18. So I'm not really sure.

Is there a way I can bypass this error until an update fixes this? I'm
unable to send error logs because I can't login to the system.
