I see from the log messages that you have a non-default theme and several
Shell extensions enabled. Can this be reproduced without any extensions?

In particular, I see a lot of stack traces involving
vertical-overview at RensAlthuis.github.com/overviewControls.js before the
repeating messages, which could indicate a problem with the
gnome-shell-extension-vertical-overview package.

(g-s-e-v-o maintainers: please see #1034356 for logs.)
