</div>That's unfortunately expected. I don't remember all the gory details,<br>
but writing the files to a removable vfat mount is not synchronous<br>
anymore (that's a kernel decision, and ISTR they had a good reason to do<br>
so). This is why you must unmount the volume (e.g. by right-clicking on<br>
it and selecting "Unmount the volume") before physically removing it.<br>
