Hi Thijs,

First of all, thanks for the communication well in advance, it's
appreciated !

I just tested a build of win32-loader with the gpgv-win32 package from
experimental and it currently fails because gpgv.exe moved from
/usr/share/win32/gpgv.exe to /usr/bin/gpgv.exe .

What is the reasoning behind that ? gpgv.exe works when launched in a
wine environment (and on Windows obviously), but having it on the
default path is definitely surprising (to me). By the way, you and me
had already discussed the reasoning behind putting the *.exe in
/usr/share/win32 in the #612462 bug, in particular on mails #27 and #32.

Besides that, one win32-loader patched, gpgv.exe works just fine and
correctly checks the Release{,.gpg} files on Windows (at least on the
Win7 I have at hand).

If the path issue is solved, then no problem for me, please go ahead!

Cheers,

OdyX
