Package: gnupg
Version: 1.4.6-1
Severity: normal

I don=C2=B4t know, if this is exactly a bug, but I discovered some serious
behaviour:

I=C2=B4ve modified my key some weeks ago, and after that, some of my friends
reported to me, that my signature seems to be bad.

So today I=C2=B4ve tested a bit with new keys.

First I have generated a new key with windows gpg 1.4.6 and enigmail and
sent some mails to myself and to a friend (incl. the pub key). All works
fine. After that I=C2=B4ve imported this key (pub and sec) my linux keyring.
Now when I send a mail to myself or to a friend, gnupg reports a bad
signature. After that, I=C2=B4ve exported the imported key, and see, that
there are differences from the imported public key and the exported
public key, the private key is the same. When I encrypt and sign the
mail, gnupg reports a good signature.

So I=C2=B4ve generated a new key under linux (via gnupg in the shell), and =
send
some mails to me and a friend (incl. pub key) and gnupg reports still a
bad signature. Even under windows, when I import the linux newly generated
key, there are the same errors.

At the third step I=C2=B4ve generated a new key (pub and sec) with gnupg un=
der
windows and tested it (it works). After that `ve copied all files
(thrusted.db etc.) from windows to my linux ~/.gnupg directory. And when
I send a mail to myself or a friend, gnupg reports again a bad signature,
but under windows with the exactly same key not.

Greetings
Alexander Loob
