[Debian GNUstep maintainers] [RFC] public version control repository

Hi everyone,

I'm obviously more busy than I want to be, which means that I'm falling
behind on Debian stuff. (And judging from Gürkan's recent orphans, it
looks like he's fairly busy too.) Many thanks to Yavor for his
excellent work.

It looks like it would be best to put some packages under the official
maintainership of the mailing list, and in order to do that properly, we
should create a public repository, so that different people can
contribute.

Alioth currently supports svn, arch, bzr, darcs, git, and hg
(mercurial).

Does anyone have a preference(s) for which version control system to
use?

For myself, I've been using arch for my own repository. I've used svn,
and I might not mind learning git.

Here are some of the packages that I'm planning on putting under the
list's maintainership, and under public version control:
- gnustep-make
- gnustep-base
- gnustep-gui
- gnustep-back
- meta-gnustep
- etoile

I'm sure that more packages can be added to the list.
