[Debian GNUstep maintainers] GNUstep update

Hi all,

Just a quick update on things.

As you probably noticed, I've uploaded a new version of gnustep-base,
which introduced a few new binary packages. The most notable package is
libgnustep-base1.14-libffi, which is GNUstep base compiled against
libffi instead of ffcall. What is notable about this is that we now
have both versions (libffi and ffcall) available -- at least for
architectures that support both options -- and this all should be as
headache-free as possible. That is, no recompiling needed, etc. If you
want to use libffi instead of ffcall, just install
libgnustep-base1.14-libffi on top of libgnustep-base1.14. This will
save us from having to make the decision of only providing ffcall or
libffi versions -- at least until either ffcall works on arm and
SELinux, etc., or libffi works on amd and is better supported.

Both versions of debugging symbols are also provided.

I only uploaded gnustep-base to experimental, because I may have made a
mistake in packaging. Please give it a try, and report any problems to
me.

So, right now, my plan is:
- upload this version of gnustep-base to unstable by next week (assuming
  no problems found)
- build packages based on the GNUstep unstable branch and upload to
  experimental by next week
- make sure that all the GNUstep stuff that we package will be able to
  work with the LGPLv3

Regarding the last point, I'm going to (tomorrow, hopefully) drop a list
of all the packages that build-depends on libgnustep-*-dev onto our To-do
list on the Debian wiki. Then, if everyone can do a quick check on a
few packages, and jot down their licenses on the wiki, then it will save
us all a bit of work.
