OK, I'll certainly bring this issue upstream (again), especially now
that the current GNUstep Back upstream maintainer thinks moving the art
backend (optionally, with compile-time option) to fontconfig is a worthy
goal.

In case you're interested why it currently doesn't use fontconfig, this

Yes, that looks like a good plan.

I forgot about this.  But if gnustep-back-common is unpacked first, the
script won't be available as we'll remove it together with the defoma
dependency.
