<p class=MsoNormal>I’ve been fiddling around with my pda to install emdebian
and gpe.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>I’ve been experimenting with an image from angstrom
linux and gpe worked quite well.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>I prefer debian, so I made the switch. Now for some reason I
seem to be unable to launch gpe properly. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>With angstrom there was a package gpe-dm, that handled the startup
of X/Xfbdev, but with debian it’s not there.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>When gpe is installed, there’s a link in
/etc/X11/Xinit.d for gpe-login, but this directory is ignored when I run xinit .
However, you guys must have some design which makes run gpe within debian. I
would really like to know what ‘your’ way is to do this.<o:p></o:p></p>
