Thanks, I have mailed Alex again (did so a few weeks ago with a bug report
also and got no reply). I'll let you know what the reply is.
BTW, a few lines were missing in your reply, but I think I got the gist of
it: try Alex first, if that doesn't work we can proceed from there. I
agree that it is the right way to go.
