fwiw the GMT site is an authoritative source for the GSHHS
dataset, since the over-achieving lead dev produces both of them.


the xtide/opencpn coastline is in a different format and those
programs would need to be patched to use it. (the gshhs data
format is described/implemented in a GRASS addon module fwiw)
