This package fails to build the architecture independent components with the newer maven-compiler-plugin.

In Ubuntu, the attached patch was applied to achieve the following:

  * Switch libmaven-compiler-plugin-java to libmaven-compiler-plugin-2.5-java
    (Fixes FTBFS)
    - update debian/control{,.in}
