Alright, let's not remove it just yet.

It is your responsibility to keep the package in shape, it hasn't been
touched for four stable releases, which is terrible.

Please actively push your changes to the git repository on Alioth to
make your packaging activity visible.

Most importantly, fix the GCC 7 build failure ASAP.

If that doesn't get fixed in a reasonable time frame, I'm still in
favour of removing this package, as the package in its currently shape
should not be included in yet another Debian stable release.
