Dear sirs/madams,

I am using the grubconf package on my debian unstable system. The
problem I am experiencing is as follows:
I have installed debian on /dev/hda4, windows and swap are on earlier
partitions
When I use grubconf to insert a splash image, it keeps allmost all of
the config, except the root=/dev/hda4 line after the kernel. Even when I
don't edit these lines, grubconf saves them as root=/dev/hda1. I have to
manually edit the file after using grubconf to correct the problem.
Could you please fix this?

Best regards,
