Bug#387325: grub: NEWS gives wrong advice

Package: grub
Version: 0.97-15
Severity: normal

The news says to replace the absulurte paths in
 /etc/kernel-img.conf from /sbin/update-grub to just update-grub.
This means that any kernel image currently on the system that has
been built using a versions of kernel-package less than 10.056 would
fail to run update-grub on removal.

The version of kernel-package that fixes the postrm for kernel
images is not yet in the archive; so telling users to use
 non-absolute paths is premature.

There is not reason to do so either: having the hook scripts
point to /usr/bin/update-grub instead would work for the mid term,
and allow for a clean transition. As it stands, the NEWS file advice
causes broken behaviour for kernel images.
