Bug#356863: Similar bug on ubuntu with different machine

I have got a similar bug on ubuntu with a different machine.
Appears with:
GRUB  0.97-11ubuntu14 (edgy)
GRUB  0.97-20ubuntu3   (feisty)
wheras
GRUB 0.97-1ubuntu9 (dapper) installed on same machine with ubuntu edgy 
or feisty is working fine.
