It would be nice if the boilerplate text in the generated grub.cfg could
be amended to:

as while I was looking for a way to specify additional Linux kernel
parameters by specifying GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX, I only discovered this file
after examining the output of running update-grub under strace.
