Ah, I see what you mean now.

Note that your patch breaks hurd-i386, kfreebsd-i386 and kfreebsd-amd64.  We
set it to use "any-*" to avoid maintaining the full list.

This is quite unfortunate... is it possible that debhelper is fixed instead?
