Hi Hugo,

Please don't CC that bug for unrelated things.  You're welcome to contact us
and share your input, but it is very hard to keep track of things if they get
mixed up.

If you can still reproduce your problem with GRUB 2, please file a new bug.

In GRUB 2, that would be:

  search  --set /ST380011A.03

it does also support labels, I think.
