When running update-grub, I have this output:

This did not happen with older versions of grub-legacy on the same system.

I had grub 2 installed a few weeks ago but downgraded to grub-legacy
(which I had used before). It could be related, but I guess not, as the 
device.map looks perfectly fine to me - all these devices do exist.

This may be a duplicate of #478004.
