Bug#497791: I have the same problem (497791)

Hi!

Yesterday I have updated grub2 from 1.96+20080724-10 to 1.96+20080831-1 and
today, while trying to boot something, I hit the same problem from #497791.

Trying to boot anything I only got "error: unknown command `linux'" or
"error: unknown command `initrd'".

Commenting the lines that start with "search --fs-uuid --set" makes it work
again.

Can I do something to help debugging this, please?
