Subject: grub-pc: Difficult to remove os-prober menu entries
Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.97~beta3-1
Severity: normal

*** Please type your report below this line ***
os-prober reports Dell's Windows Recovery partition, as well as the
regular Windoze partition. And grub-pc automatically adds both to the
menu list. I see no easy way to remove the Recovery partition from
the menu list, other than by editting /etc/grub.d/30_os-prober, an edit which
could be erased at each upgrade.

Perhaps an option to ignore OS's on specified partitions could be built
into /etc/default/grub?
