Bug#606330: grub-pc: update-grub fails to install bootsplash image from grub2-splashimages

Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.98+20100804-8
Severity: normal

I edited the /etc/grub.d/05_debian_theme file to use the grub2-splashimage wallpaper on the wallpaper line as such:

WALLPAPER="/usr/share/images/grub/Lake_mapourika_NZ.tga"

however running update-grub does not mention the wallpaper, and does not add the splashimage
